Learn how to get started recording.
Equipment
You will need at minimum a computer, interface, headphones or speakers, XLR cable and microphone (with mic stand). It is advisable to get a DAW like pro tools or logic however audacity works just fine to start.

Recording
Setup your audio equipment and install the proper drivers on your computer for the device if necessary. Test that the mic is properly working by recording a sample of the audio in your daw.
Now it's time to experiment!
